The world never resets, there are no land claims, and nobody locks their chests. That works because of one rule everyone follows: if it isn't yours, leave it alone. Everything else on this page is a detail of that.

Every block placed or broken and every container opened on Cozy is logged with the player's name and the time, and kept for 90 days. That isn't a threat; it's a description. Try it now: stand next to any chest, type /co inspect, and click the chest. You'll see who placed it, who opened it, and what they took or put in. That's exactly what staff see, about every block and container in the world.

Stolen items are traced wherever they end up — another chest, a shop, a friend's base, a different account — and recovered. A first theft can be a ban and a second always is; anyone allowed back loses everything the theft touched. We'd rather never ban anyone. We're telling you this so that nobody ever thinks it's worth trying.

The five things most likely to cost you your place here. Same five everywhere — #rules, in-game /rules, the signs at spawn.

1. Never take from a container that isn't yours. Every container is logged.
2. Never record voice chat. Ever, even with permission.
3. Never show other players' nametags in anything you post outside Cozy.
4. Never invite Cozy members to private worlds, Realms, or Discords — including your own. Private means anywhere people can't join on their own: a Realm, a whitelist, an invite link.
5. Never ask anyone for personal information — including their age.

1. Join the Minecraft server, then verify in Discord. Join first with the account you want verified; the account has to exist on the server before it can be verified. Steps: cozymc.com/verify.
2. Read the rules once. Five minutes: cozymc.com/rules. Each rule's detail page is part of the rules.
3. Explore, then pick a spot. Spawn (the 500 blocks around it in the Overworld) is shared community space with its own rules; build your base outside it. There are no land claims, so distance and courtesy are how people give each other room.
4. Find people. Kingdoms, projects, and events are organized in the Discord. Ask in #general; someone will point you somewhere.
5. Something looks wrong? Open a support ticket in the Discord — the #support-ticket channel, one click; only staff see it. You don't need to be sure. Don't confront anyone yourself.
6. Not sure if something's allowed? Ask. Asking is never a violation.

• "It looked abandoned." No chest is abandoned until staff say so. /co inspect, then ask staff.
• "I was going to give it back." Still theft. Self-report before you're found and it's a conversation instead of a case.
• "Someone asked how old I am." Don't answer. Say the rules don't allow it. If it continues, open a ticket. Asking is the violation; you did nothing wrong.
• "A friend invited me to their Realm." They can't do that through Cozy, and you're not in trouble for being asked. Cozy's Creative server is where testing and planning happen.
• "Can I swear?" Not in Cozy chat or voice, including /msg.
• "Can I stream?" Yes. Hide other players' nametags in anything you post outside Cozy, and never record voice.
• "That map art is cool, can I make a copy?" Only with the creator's permission. The copy you buy is yours; making more isn't.
• "Can I Litematica that build?" Not without asking. Learning from it and building your own is always fine; copying it isn't.
